Privacy Policy
What we collect when you book with us, why we collect it, and who else can see it.
Placeholder wording. This page is a plain-English starting point written by the developer. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Heavenly Body Massage should replace it with its own wording, or have it checked, before relying on it.
What we collect
When you book online we ask for your name, mobile number, email address and any notes you choose to give us about what you would like from your treatment. When you buy a gift voucher we ask for your name and email, and the name and email of the person you are giving it to.
We do not collect or store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment provider — your card number is entered directly into Stripe's own secure form and never reaches our website or our records.
Why we collect it
- To hold your appointment and know who is coming in.
- To send you a confirmation, and to contact you if something changes.
- To tell the studio about a new booking so a therapist is ready for you.
- To email a gift voucher to the person you bought it for.
- To keep records of what was sold, as any business must.
Any notes you give us about injuries, sore spots or areas to avoid are used only to make your treatment better and safer.
Who else can see it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They only ever see what they need to do their job:
- Stripe — processes card payments.
- Supabase — stores bookings and vouchers.
- Resend — sends confirmation emails.
- Twilio — sends the studio an SMS when you book.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Booking and voucher records are kept while they are needed for the business and for as long as tax and consumer law requires. Gift voucher records are kept for at least the life of the voucher, which is three years.
Getting a copy, or asking us to delete it
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 0468 333 519 or email jsn4119@gmail.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it — if so we will tell you which and why.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on the booking page in order to process payments securely and detect fraud.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
